II.Documents required for the registration of a foreign-owned company?

1.Investor documents

(1)If the foreign investor is a company, it is required to provide its Certificate of Incorporation and valid documents of the legal representative (should be notarized by the notary public of the foreign country and certified by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in that country)

(2)If the foreign investor is a natural person, it is required to provide a copy of its ID card (should be notarized by the notary public of the foreign country and certified by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in that country)

2.Office documents

(1)Production company

Original real estate lease contract of the plant in duplicate. Requirement: Rent 200 square meters or more with the investor's name; lease term is one year; rent as factory

The original lease contract of the office, a copy of the property ownership certificate , a copy of the owner's ID card, etc. Requirements: The lease term is one year, and rent as office.

3.Identity documents of board members

(1)A copy of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan passport or ID card or passport of members of the Board of Directors

(2)A wholly foreign-owned enterprise may not have a board of directors, and has one executive director (providing a copy of his personal ID card or passport)

4.Other related documents:

(1)1-3 Chinese and English names of the company

(2)Identity proof of legal representative

(3)Identity proof of supervisor

(4)Description of the main business and development prospects of the new company

III.Foreign-owned company registration process

1.Approval of the name of the newly registered foreign-owned enterprise by the Trade and Industry Bureau (3-5 working days)

2.Business Bureau approval or filing procedures (10-20 working days)

3.Registration procedures by the Trade and Industry Bureau (5-10 working days)

4.Public Security Bureau filing procedures (1-5 working days)
